Aqueous Coating on Paper

Aqueous paper cups offer a superior, sustainable alternative to traditional PE-lined cups by using a water-based, plastic-free, and PFAS-free coating that is both recyclable and compostable. They feature 300+ gsm paper for durability, ensuring excellent heat resistance and leak protection for hot and cold beverages without leaving any odor or taste.

Key benefits include environmental sustainability—these cups are 100% plastic-free or have very low (<3%) plastic content, making them easier to recycle and often compostable. The water-based coating creates a strong barrier against liquids and fats, preventing leaks and maintaining rigidity, and they are typically free from intentionally added PFAS for a safer, non-toxic product. Suitable for both hot and cold beverages, they are durable, support customized printing for branding, and do not impart any unwanted taste or odor. Aqueous cups are increasingly considered the most sustainable packaging solution on the market, providing a better alternative to plastic-lined containers.
